Our client, an International Technology company, needs an individual with sound judgment and initiative for the role of
Warehouse/Logistics Coordinator
The incumbent will be responsible for day-to-day activities associated with Inventory Control, Property Management, Disposal, Shipping and Receiving, Records Management, Data and Reporting, Audits, Maintenance Administration, and Training. S/He will be responsible for compliance following generally accepted standards, company regulations, contracts and adhering to the associated government regulations and supplementary orders.
The selected individual will be responsible for the coordination, execution and reporting of Terminal Management Initiatives in conjunction with Client Services Manager and Field Marketing Supervisor.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has supervisory responsibilities for up to 3 persons
The Incumbent liaises with:
INTERNALLY: Warehouse Clerks, Bench Repair Technicians
EXTERNALLY: Contractors, Agents, and Customs
This description is a summary of principal responsibilities and is not intended to include all duties which may be assigned.
· Supervising warehouse staff
· Coordinating equipment disposal
· Maintain property control paperwork - electronically and physically
· Interface with all departments regarding equipment storage, shipment, receipt requirements
· Interface with Production Lead testing and issue of equipment
· Receive, tag, issue and store Property
· Assist in maintenance/creation of electronic inventory management system
· Ensure property integrity is maintained from a security and storage perspective
· Supervises and coordinates shipping for domestic and international transport handles receipt of materials, reviews shipping documentation/data for completeness and accuracy and resolves all associated discrepancies
· Inspects materials for in-transit damage and interfaces with carriers for resolution of claims
· Inputs and track to resolution product quality deficiency reports for identified problems
· Process all inventory transactions - electronically and as applicable physically
· Responsible for local pick-up or delivery of materials - internal and external
· Oversees and implements safety requirements, training, and compliance (personnel, equipment, and data) for Warehouse/Depot
· Develops, reports, and maintains all activity associated metrics (monthly, quarterly, annually, etc)
· Maintains warehouse cleanliness and order
· Ensure that consumables are ordered, shipped and maintained at reasonable levels to ensure that customers are properly stocked
· Ensure that equipment spares are ordered, shipped and maintained at reasonable levels to ensure that Technicians can carry out necessary repairs
· Other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor
The Ideal Candidate will have:
· An Associate Degree in Operations Mangement or General Management with major course work in business, operations management , inventory management
· At least 3 years work experience in a manufacturing environment, specializing in Inventory Management/Warehousing
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Access is MANDATORY. Working knowledge of other Database Tools is useful.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Excellent working knowledge of local/international shipping and customs rules/laws
· Willingness and ability to learn new concepts and skills
· Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
Language Skills
Ability to effectively present technical and non-technical information to co-workers, suppliers, contractors, government officials and the public
Ability to write reports and business correspondence
Ability to read, listen, analyze and make recommendations
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret simple graphs
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and recommend solutions.
Hours Of Work
While official working hours are between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., the incumbent may need to spend additional hours outside of this in order to achieve deadlines and targets.
